LOTF day 5 (April 25, 2014)

Today it was raining :(.  This week was really busy with church, going out, and homework, so today was great because I got to sleep in and relax.  I woke up around 10:30 walked my dogs, but it started raining so I didn't really get to walk them far. The really cool thing about free days like these is that I get to do things that I'm too busy to do or notice on a regular school week.  I practiced singing a bit and recorded some songs with my mom's camera. (I'm currently saving up for an expensive camera of my own so I can upload videos on Youtube!), I also watched about 6 episodes of my favorite TV show, Degrassi.  Other than that, today was really chill and fun, because I got a lot of sleep and relaxation.  Hopefully tomorrow is sunny so I can drive down to the beach. :D

difference between gesture and thought

A thought is an idea that the actor comes up with on stage. A gesture is a movement of the part of the body to express that thought onstage.

Reflection on Poems

This unit was actually one of my favorite units in poetry because I really got to express my thoughts, feelings, and emotions into something that sounded beautiful.  I really liked my sonnet, but compared to others in the class, it gets put to shame. The other classmates poems were absolutely amazing and original.  Presenting in front of the class wasn't hard at all, but in front of people I tend to talk softer so i should work on projecting my voice.  All in all, i feel like I did a really good job presenting and my classmates poems were all so beautiful!

The sunset casts a glimmer on the water

this ad claims that every pet owner should buy Pedigree products. The audience are pet owners. Pathos would be the cute, innocent, healthy looking dog. The ethos is the statement made by the dog "The omega fatty acids in my food give me a soft, healthy coat."

blog post #7: Tutoring Day

Tutoring and helping out the kids with mental disabilities today was really cool, because I got to see kind of how those kids went to school. They were fun to work with because they were all so sweet and kind and fun to talk to.  It really inspired me to help out more, and i enjoyed it.

New Years Resolution

My New Years resolution is to work harder and put 200% in school. I want to end the year with all A's and only about 2 B's. Since I want to get into a good college, I have to start focusing more on my education. Another New Years Resolution that I have is to make memories with people by having fun and not worrying too much about things.
